Event 6 - Bristol RC 11th July

Another windy day on Castle Combe! The scratch group started off with a 1 lap deficit on the front group (any more and they start complaining!) but this was not enough for them to catch everyon after half way. The 'Big Hitters' (Ian Alexander and company) had attacked and missed the crash on the bottom corner of the circuit 3/4 of the way through, which left 2 of the Chippenham riders looking slightly miserable. The sprint for first place was far too far away for me to comment on, but I did experience the horrible wind which must have let Ian A. use his strength to beat the rest.
